Palma alumni JoJo Cardinale and JT Amaral squared off this past weekend as University of San Francisco hosted Pepperdine in a three-game baseball series. USF came away with the series win, taking two out of three from the Waves.

Both former Chieftains played in all three games. JT Amaral, playing right field for USF, went 3-for-10 at the plate, driving in four runs and scoring three times. JoJo Cardinale, the lead off hitter and centerfielder for Pepperdine, collected a hit in each game, finishing 3-for-12 and scoring twice during the series.

It was a strong showing for both Palma grads as they continue to make their mark at the Division I level.
