Palma Varsity Chieftains scored six runs in the fourth inning, which helped them defeat Salinas Varsity Cowboys 10-0 on Tuesday.  Manny Dorantes drew a walk, scoring one run, Johnny Carnazzo drew a walk, scoring one run, Rocco Razzeca singled, scoring two runs, and Damian Ybarra doubled, scoring two runs.

Palma Varsity Chieftains got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Razzeca drew a walk, scoring one run, and Gabe Serrano doubled, scoring two runs.

Alan Gonzalez earned the win for Palma Varsity Chieftains. The hurler gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one. Nico Lopez took the loss for Salinas Varsity Cowboys. The reliever went one and one-third innings, giving up five runs on four hits, striking out two and walking four. Andrew Gonzalez began the game for Salinas Varsity Cowboys. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and five runs over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking four.

Number nine hitter, Aiden Veliz, showed the depth of Palma Varsity Chieftains's lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats. Razzeca, Serrano, and Ybarra each drove in two runs for Palma Varsity Chieftains. Dorantes led Palma Varsity Chieftains with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Razzeca stole two bases. Palma Varsity Chieftains stole four bases in the game. Palma Varsity Chieftains turned one double play in the game.
