Palma School is pleased to announce that Robbie Johnson has been named
Varsity Head Coach for Girls' Basketball.
Coach Johnson brings more than 30 years of basketball experience having
played at Weber State University (MVP and All-American in 1994) and
professionally in Croatia. His coaching experience includes high school and
youth basketball programs. Since 2006, 10 players under his tutelage have
received collegiate basketball scholarships and two have gone on to the
NBA.
"I'm super excited to be a part of the Palma family and look forward to getting
started. My goal is to leave a tremendous impact and win championships. I
will work every single day to make that happen," Johnson said.
This fall will be the first time Palma has had a girls' basketball team since
1964. It's an exciting time to be a Chieftain.
