The Chieftains walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trailblazers. The victory was familiar territory for the Chieftains, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 21-25, 25-14, 25-19.  Palma has a one game lead over 

Palma's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Rancho San Juan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.

Watsonville tournament saw the Cheiftains take second place after losing 0-2 to Monte Vista out of Cupertino for the second time this season.  The road to the Championship game went as follows. Palma beat Mnt Madona 2-0, then beat Willow Glenn 2-0 and faced Rancho in the bracket round beating them 2-0.
