Palma came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the North Salinas Vikings. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win last Saturday.
The victory didn't come easy: North Salinas scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 20-25, 25-19.
Palma's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for North Salinas, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
