Watsonville Varsity Wildcatz opened the scoring in the third after Jillian Lerma singled, scoring one run.

Rocha hit a solo inside the park home run in the bottom of the fourth for the Palma Varsity Chieftains.

Palma Varsity Chieftains made the score 4-3 in the bottom of the seventh after Keilani Pato-Guardado doubled, scoring one run, and Rocha singled, scoring two runs.

Kiersten Jara pitched four innings in relief for Palma Varsity Chieftains. The hurler surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) while, striking out 10 and walking one. Sophia Cardinale (SCU)?? led things off in the circle for Palma Varsity Chieftains. The pitcher allowed three hits and two runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Amelia Martinez led things off in the circle for Watsonville Varsity Wildcats. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and four runs over six and one-third innings, striking out nine and walking six.

Rocha drove the middle of the lineup, leading Palma Varsity Chieftains with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Rocha and Maya Martinez each collected two hits for Palma Varsity Chieftains. Brianna Hernandez paced Palma Varsity Chieftains with two walks.
