The Palma Girls Flag Football team continued their winning streak with an overwhelming 57-0 victory over Seaside. The Lady Chieftains delivered a flawless performance on both sides of the ball, extending their undefeated run.
Senior Captain and quarterback
Allison Guerra led the charge, completing a perfect 12 of 12 passes for 183 yards and 4 touchdowns. Freshman quarterback
Melany Duenas came off the bench to continue the offensive onslaught, going 12 of 16 for 178 yards and matching Guerra with 4 touchdowns of her own.
Sophomore running back
Aiylee Blair was unstoppable, recording 5 receptions for 90 yards and 3 touchdowns. Freshman standout
Adalyn Jefferson added to the scoring with 86 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Senior Captain
Kylee Parker contributed with 37 receiving yards and a TD. Freshman
Carolina Lorca grabbed two touchdown receptions, further sealing the game.
On defense, Palma's intensity never let up, as they secured 4 interceptions. Freshman
Emma Munoz kicked off the scoring with a pick-six to set the tone for the game. Additional interceptions came from
Elsie Sargenti,
Allison Guerra,
Lyric Gomez, and
Natalia Aguon, completing a dominant defensive effort that shut out Seaside.
