The Palma Girls Flag Football team delivered two impressive wins, continuing their successful season with dominant performances in both games.
**Game 1: Palma 46, Rancho San Juan 14**Â
The Palma offense was unstoppable against Rancho San Juan, with Senior Quarterback Ally Guerra leading the charge. Guerra put on a clinic, completing 28 of 31 passes for 316 yards and 6 touchdowns. She also contributed on defense, recording an interception.
Junior receiver
Elsie Sargenti was a key target for Guerra, hauling in 7 receptions for 100 yards and 3 touchdowns while making 6 critical de-flags on defense. Freshman standout
Adalyn Jefferson also had a big day, catching 7 passes for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns. Senior
Kylee Parker made her mark with a receiving touchdown and added a passing touchdown later in the game.
Carolina Lorca started the scoring with a receiving touchdown, helping Palma set the tone early. The team's well-rounded effort, both offensively and defensively, secured the commanding 46-14 victory over Rancho San Juan.
**Game 2: Palma 26, Pajaro Valley 0**Â
In the second game, Palma shut out Pajaro Valley in a shortened contest due to fading daylight. Freshman QB
Melany Duenas was sharp, completing 11 of 14 passes for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lorca and Sargenti each caught a touchdown pass, while Jefferson electrified the field with a 60-yard rushing touchdown.
On defense, Sophomore
Aiylee Blair was a standout, securing a 34-yard pick-six and recording 4 pass deflections along with 4 de-flags, sealing the 25-0 win.
Palma's defense dominated throughout the day, holding Pajaro Valley scoreless while making big plays to secure the shutout.
