Palma's defense showed resilience early on, managing to keep Soquel within reach during the first half. Despite Soquel's initial scoring drive in the first quarter, Palma responded with a solid offensive push of their own, netting a touchdown to keep the score close at halftime.

However, the third quarter proved to be challenging for Palma. Soquel's offense found its rhythm, putting up 20 points in the quarter, pulling away from Palma. Despite this, Palma didn't back down. They managed to find the end zone again in the fourth quarter, showcasing the team's determination and never-say-die attitude.

Palma's efforts in the red zone were successful, converting on both of their opportunities. Yet, the offense couldn't quite match the explosive plays of Soquel down the stretch. Palma's defense fought hard, but the combination of Soquel's consistent ground attack and timely passing proved to be too much.

Eli Dukes led the Palma offense with 71 yards on  13 carries while David Garcia had 41 yards on 6 carries and two touchdowns.
